School Houses
At Warter School we have four houses. Each child is allocated a house when they first start at Warter which they will remain in until they leave in year 6. At the beginning of each academic year, children in their houses will vote to elect house captains and vice captains. Children can earn house points for a variety of different reasons which may include displaying outstanding behaviour, outstanding academic achievement, good sportsmanship etc.
At the end of each term the house points are counted up and the winning house receives a reward for their hard work. At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points overall will have their house name engraved on the house trophy. The house captains and vice captains will be presented with the trophy at our leavers celebration worship on the last day of the summer term.
